Q.  Who else is notified of sickness absence when it is recorded?

A.  As certain absence types may benefit from intervention or notification to various support services the following teams are advised of an absence as per the reason below:

HR - notified in cases of Infectious Disease, Accident at Work, Stress, Back Problems or Pregnancy Related absence

Payroll - notified in case of Pregnancy Related absence

Health and Safety - notified in cases of Infectious Disease, Accident at Work, or Back Problems
